The Mercedes GLE Hybrid is set to receive its second facelift, with U.S. deliveries set to begin in 2026. Though not a full redesign, the update will introduce key enhancements in design, technology, and electrification.

The exterior is expected to adopt an illuminated grille, aligning the GLE with higher-end Mercedes models. Digital Light headlamps, potentially available as a post-purchase upgrade, and new rear lights featuring the star motif seen on the latest E-Class will modernize the SUV’s appearance.

Inside, the refreshed GLE should offer the optional MBUX Superscreen and active ambient lighting. It is also expected to gain Mercedes’ latest MB.OS software, enabling advanced driver-assist features with Level 2++ autonomous capability.

Upgrades should include a Burmester 4D sound system and a more capable 48-volt full-hybrid setup paired with a 3.0-liter inline-six engine. The current 49-mile plug-in hybrid variant is expected to carry over.
