2020 Mercedes GLC300 Gets New Callipers

After Kal Tire ordered set of wheels for our 2020 Mercedes GLC300 to be used with our winter tires the wheels ended up damaging the brand new callipers that the car came with. Kal Tire informed me about the damage and showed it to me before I picked the car up. Because of the car being too new at the time with only around 500km on the odometer we requested for the callipers to be fixed or replaced by Mercedes Dealership. They took responsibility and paid for brand new callipers. After the Callipers were replaced I picked up the car and noticed that the brake pedal felt soft, spongy and it traveled too far. I also noticed that I had to press the brake pedal almost halfway to even feel the car slowing down. I immediately went back to the dealership and let my advisor know about it. The service manager drove the car and could also feel that it did not feel right so he made an appointment for next morning. When I picked the car up after the second service I noticed that it was better but could still feel that it was not the way it used to be before the replacement. I gave it a week and went back for them to take a look again. Technician drove the car and told me that it felt normal to him. I arranged for him to drive our second 2020 GLC300 and he still told me that it felt the same to him. They ended up doing a brake flush and it is much better now.
