It’s time for the ultimate Aston Martin showdown!!!
We’ve got our hands on a whole load of Britain’s finest, and they’re all about to go head-to-head across the 1/4-mile through the generations. The question is, will the almighty Valkyrie prove to be the ultimate Aston Martin? Let’s take a closer look at the contenders.

First up we have the Rapide against a 2010 Vantage. Both cars are powered by a 5.9-litre naturally-aspirated V12, with the Rapide producing 477hp and 600Nm, while the Vantage puts down 517hp and 570Nm. Both cars send power to the rear wheels, and the Vantage is lightest, at 1,680kg.

Up next we have the DBS. It comes with the same engine, same power output and an almost identical weight at the Vantage, but while the Vantage was a 6-speed manual, the DBS is a 6-speed auto!

Following the DBS, we have a 2014 Vanquish. As with the previous contenders it’s packing a 5.9-litre naturally-aspirated V12, but this edition produces 573hp and 620Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed auto, and it tips the scales at 1,739kg.

Up next will be the DBX 707. It’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and as the name suggests, it creates 707hp coupled with 900Nm. It’s equipped with a 9-speed auto, four wheel drive, and it’s the heaviest car here at 2,245kg.

Then we move into the newer supercars. First up it’s the new V8 Vantage, which is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that creates 665hp and 800Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels, and it weighs in at 1,670kg.

This will be followed by the new V12 Vantage, which is packing a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 that puts down 700hp and 752Nm. Once again power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed auto, with the car weighing in at 1,795kg.

The penultimate contender will be the new Vanquish. It’s packing the same 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 as the Vantage, but here it creates 835hp and 1000Nm. It’s equipped with an 8-speed auto which sends the power to the rear wheels, and it tips the scales at 1,835kg.

Finally, we come to the ultimate Aston Martin - the Valkyrie. It’s packing an incredible 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 as well as an electric motor, and this creates an almighty 1,155hp and 900Nm. This is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed sequential gearbox, and the car weighs only 1,370kg. It’s also by far the most expensive car here, costing from £2,500,000!

So will the Valkyrie perform when the pressure’s on? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
