A 2018 Mercedes Benz GLC-300 4matic. A compact luxury crossover SUV meant to compete with the likes of the BMW X3, Audi Q3, and others. This small SUV was first introduced in 2015 as a 2016 model in hopes to erase the memory of the departing failure that was the GLK-Class experiment and take away some of the customers from the market dominant Lexus RX and NX line up.
The 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC comes in four different models to choose from: The GLC 300, GLC 350e (plug-in hybrid), AMG GLC 43, and AMG GLC 63.
GLC 300: The base GLC300 comes with the following standard features:
2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine
Synthetic leather upholstery
Power-adjustable front seats
Dual-zone automatic climate control
Power liftgate
Rain-sensing windshield wipers
Rearview camera
Forward collision alert
Crosswind alert
Emergency braking
Driver drowsiness monitoring
Pre-Safe.
The standard infotainment system features a 7-inch display, HD Radio, Bluetooth, and two USB ports.
You can upgrade to the 4MATIC trim or the 4MATIC Coupe version.
GLC 350e: The plug-in hybrid GLC 350e has all-wheel drive, improved fuel efficiency, remote climate control, a haptic accelerator pedal, and four driving modes. EPA rated 56 MPGe combined. 25MPG combined on the engine alone.
AMG GLC 43: A powerful 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 362HP and all-wheel drive come standard in the AMG GLC43.
AMG GLC 63: The AMG GLC63 has a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine making 469HP and all-wheel drive.
