The C63 AMG sedan and coupe are rivaled by the BMW M3 and Audi RS4 In 2010, Mercedes-AMG introduced a new "AMG P31 Development Package" for an extra $6050, which ups the power to 487 horsepower compared to 451 horsepower for the standard model. Top speed has increased to 170 mph. In 2011, Mercedes announced an AMG C63 Black Edition. Available only as a coupe, the Black Edition produces 510 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque, propelling it from zero to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds
