Increased horsepower and displacement engines are available for all models. The top of the line is the BRABUS 5.8 V8, for the ML 430 and ML 55, increased-displacement engine (above) based on the V8 model. This engine delivers 400 hp / 294 kW and develops maximum torque of 579 Nm at 3000 - 4250 rpm and has a top speed of 240 km/h. The BRABUS 3.8 (below) for the ML 320 delivers 272 hp/200 kW at 5750 rpm and develops maximum torque of 381 Nm at 3950 rpm and has a top speed of 221 km/h..
