Already before its full reveal, the new Mercedes-AMG GT R PRO impressively demonstrated its performance potential on the racetrack: In autumnal conditions, Mercedes-AMG GT3 Racing Driver Maro Engel completed a hot lap on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife in exactly 7.04.632 minutes. Compared to the current performance flagship Mercedes-AMG GT R, the GT R PRO has been further optimized in numerous details to deliver even more racetrack performance: Enhanced power, new suspension, aerodynamic fine-tuning, lightweight-design bucket seats and lightweight-design wheels all contribute to the enhanced driving dynamics and faster lap times on the track.
