DIY Service Intervals
This is a how to reset the oil life and/or the service intervals for a 2005 Mercedes-Benz C230

1)Turn the ignition to “POSITION 1”.
2)Press the system selection button repeatedly until the mileage reading is displayed.
3)Press the cluster illumination button 3 times quickly.
4)The battery voltage will be displayed and a sound will be heard.
5)Turn the ignition to “POSITION 2”.
6)Press the up or down arrows until the service menu appears.
7)Press the cluster illumination button once.
8)The oil menu will be displayed. Use the +/- buttons to select the oil used.
9)Use the up or down arrows to confirm.
10)“RESET OIL CONFIRMATION. PUSH R-BUTTON FOR 3 SECONDS” will be displayed.
11)Press and hold the cluster illumination button for 3 seconds.
“SERVICE CONFIRMED” will be displayed.
12)Turn the ignition off.
