We were in a hurry to get to the bowling alley (seriously) and inadvertently pissed off a Mercedes C63 AMG when we cut him off merging onto the highway. After high beaming us and pulling alongside, he attempts (and fails miserably) to pass us from around 60 mph. Supra shut down at just over an indicated 180 mph. Camera car is a 61mm MKIV Supra on pump gas and low boost. The C 63 AMG is Mercedes' "M3 Fighter", featuring a 6.3 liter 451 bhp / 443 ft-lb NA V8. It will sprint to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds, run the 1/4 mile in 12.5 seconds and continue on to an electronically governed top speed of 155 mph. www.mercedes-amg.com www.caranddriver.com
