Before driving a newly acquired old Benz its a good idea to check over those items that are safety related. This inspection should begin with the brakes and include suspension, steering and shocks. Yes, shock absorbers are a safely related item. Good shocks and a tight suspension can keep you out of an accident during abrupt maneuvering. You will not believe what Kent found on this 300SD.
