New safety features like tested for offset crash, driver airbag („Luftsack“) from 1981 as first series production airbag, passenger airbag (1988), three-point belt in the rear and ASR (anti slip regulation)

Interesting details: front wipers are hidden under the bonnet and cover 73 % of the front windshield, automatic AC, workshop key that cannot open glovebox and trunk, electric seat control logic was taken over by many other manufacturers
