In part 6 in this multi-part series on air suspension, Martin Werminghausen (a German mechanical engineer) will show you some of the steps he has to go through to make sure the internal check valves are not leaking before the leveling valve is reassembled. This is only a quick overview and is not meant to be a complete video instruction. Martin does not feel overhauling these valves is a practical job for the DIY mechanic For those of us who own an air suspension Mercedes, nothing is more discouraging than to go out to your garage and see your W112, W109 or 600 sitting down on the oil pan!
