The fluid pump bolts are accessed from the inside. The bell housing must be separated from the body of the Transmission. The new pumps are updated with roller bearing for the torque converter snout. The old pumps had a friction bearing installed. The valve body must be removed first before anything else can be removed. These are all aluminum bolts so be very careful no to over torque because they will break. Also be aware of a trust bearing when you remove the bellhousing. Check it for cracks and make sure its still seated in its proper place.
