From the comments and emails I get, there seems to be quite a bit of confusion concerning this subject. You need to know what you have in order to troubleshoot your fuel injection system and to be able to order the correct parts. CIS fuel injection was used on Mercedes from 1976 to 1993 as well as other European cars during the 70s and 80s. But there were two types, and that is where the confusion lies. I will explain the differences and show you the components that cause the most problems and what you need to test them for proper operation.
