❖ Hi guys, welcome back. The Bentley has been busy freshening its existing lineup, the Continental range is growing with new S versions of the Continental GT coupe and Continental GTC convertible. The posh grand tourer starts off as the V8 model, before getting a sports exhaust with quad tips in black to amplify the twin-turbo 4.0-liter unit's soundtrack. The twin-turbo 6.0-liter W-12 was excluded due to its hefty weight.
The mechanicals remain largely the same, but the GT S and GTC S get bolder visual accents to help the opulent coupe stand out. While the Continental Azure focuses on the luxury side of the GT, the new S serves as a sportier offering. That said, the eight-cylinder engine soldiers on 542-horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque. An 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive remain standard. It enables the cars to reach 62 miles-per-hour from a standstill in 3.4 seconds flat, and a top speed of 198 miles-per-hour. Mightily impressive for a car weighing around 5000 pounds.
While pricing has yet to be revealed, predict the 2023 Bentley Continental GT S and Continental GTC S: will have a starting price of around $240,000 - putting it between the base model around $220,000 - and the more advanced, around $280,000 Continental GT Speed.
