That's right, I did a gold wrap on the AMG. This idea came to mind when looking at other builds and BRABUS M157 Motors. I bought Gold Reflective tape to keep the air as cool as possible. The m157 constantly struggles with cooling and being heat-soaked. If it keeps it cool by a few degrees, I will be happy. I thought it would be a pretty easy task wrapping the pipes with the tape; how hard could it be? I was wrong to think that I could do this in a few minutes, so after trying multiple times, I was ready to give up. My wife came to the rescue and, like always, impressed me by doing an amazing job! She made this DIY video for anyone who decides to tackle something like this and wants some help.
