Problem & Symptoms:
The rotating "scrolling" function of the Mercedes-Benz COMAND controller stops working. All other functions continue to work.

Cause:
The internal shaft of the controller is prone to breaking after several years of regular use. When the plastic shaft inside the assembly breaks, the rotating function stops working.

Solution:
There is no need to replace the entire unit. Save money by simply changing the internal shaft.
