Part 5 in my series on restoring a W124 300E. In some cases, that may be true, but now that these transmissions are 30 to 40+ years old, do NOT assume you just have one problem. I opened up my 1987 300E transmission, and I was shocked at what I found. Never assume it is just the B2!
