Like a leviathan with a bad stomach, this AMG spits and blurps whenever your'e not tip-toeing around town.

It is an awesome car in the way that a large bridge or star-constellation is awesome. 2345kg is no lightweight, but then again, when has anything come out of the AMG shed that wasn't extraordinary? And it's not slow either.

0-100 km/h takes 4,2 seconds and the top speed of 250 km/h, only a few more. With further in-house trickery, it'll do 280 km/h. That's in your SUV! Oh my gosh!

Verdict in short: Whilst it could humiliate a few sportscars, the GLE AMG 63 S is most cool when you drive it slightly understated.
Hit sport mode, instead of sport plus. Ease in the throttle instead of smashing it. Just take a single instead of a double and the party will be way more fun.

Well done Mercedes and AMG. You have once again taken all we know about the horrid taste of maths and physics and blended it marvelously, leaving us genuflecting on the sweet result. Cheers!
