Compared to the $800,000 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, half as many Mercedes-AMG GT R PROs will come to Australia. Just 15 cars – and they are all but spoken for at over $450,000 each.

That’s an $80K-plus premium over the already very capable Mercedes-AMG GT R.

So what’s the attraction?

The Mercedes-AMG GT R PRO is an even more track-ready version of the Mercedes-AMG GT R with racetrack-ready adjustable suspension, more aerodynamic downforce and a fair dose of GT3 and GT4 racetrack breeding.

To use the Porsche 911 range as a parallel, the easiest way to describe the PRO’s place in the world is to call it Affalterbach’s version of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
