Hey guys! ????

Welcome back to Part 2 of my Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO #3 build!

In Part 1, we started this project with the Tamiya 1/24 scale Mercedes-AMG GT3 kit, focusing on the open box and body preparation.

Now it’s time to give this race car its identity!

In this episode, we’re moving on to one of my favorite stages of any build — the paint and finishing work.

Here’s what we’ll be working on:

???? Body Painting
???? Decals Work
✨ Clear Coat Finishing

Getting the paint and decals right is especially important for this project, as we’re recreating the Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO #3 that competed in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring 2026, driven by Max Verstappen.

There’s a lot of work involved in getting all those colors, graphics, and decals to sit properly on the body, but this is the stage where the model really starts to look like the real race car.

And once everything is in place, we’ll finish it off with a clear coat to bring all the details together and give the body that deep, smooth finish. ✨
