Increasing AC performance by cleaning your condenser was a surprise to me. My friend and forum moderator Paul Krawsek aka College man, turned me onto this. He works in HVAC and was telling me about the benefits of cleaning condenser coils. He says one of the biggest reasons that AC systems fail is due to increased head pressure in the compressor. Higher pressures equal more heat. The increased heat breaks down the lubricant. Once that happens, it's not long before the compressor fails. One way to keep down compressor temperature is to lower high side pressures in the AC system. You can do this by increasing the condensers efficiency by cleaning it. Honestly, I was amazed at the result. This really works and doesn't require that you open the AC system at all to do it. So if your AC isn't working as good as it should, you might try this process to see if it helps.NuBrite Cleaner spray can: http://www.climatedoctors.com/Solvents-Solutions/Nu-Calgon-4291-18-Nu-Brite-Coil-Cleaner-18oz-Aerosol?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cse&gclid=CKL2vovM9b4CFa4WMgodnHcAYQNuBrite Cleaner Gallon: http://www.amazon.com/Nu-Calgon-4291-08-Nu-Brite-Cleaner--Gallon/dp/B000R81QCG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1402619384&sr=8-2&keywords=nubrite+coil+cleanerPump Sprayer: http://www.jbtoolsales.com/devilbiss-803492-pump-sprayer/#oid=1002_1Fin Comb: http://www.jbtoolsales.com/titan-tools-51500-air-conditioning-fin-comb/#oid=1002_1Camera: Brian KastThe best place for answers to your automotive questions: http://www.ericthecarguy.comRelated Videos. How AC Works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w17DpGCcRj8AC Performance Testing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XU_A4wNuHXIHow To Find and Repair AC Leaks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95RdGLFIbL8How To Recharge an AC System: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lglPJuBXVeERe: AC Videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBxkDFrVTdwAC Clutch Diagnosis and Repair: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7yflp1WFrUCleaning AC Drains: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfXyo7a2F9AElement Grill Installation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Bg0PGM3SrYHID Headlight Installation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OB-KQIySb7wRe: How To Install HID Headlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBbAGqpH0pM2004 Element HID Fog Light Installation (Part 1): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvOez4RCyn82004 Element HID Fog Light Installation (Part 2): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rINkzWHgCTMArticle on AC diagnosis and repair: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/faq/solving-automotive-hvac-problemsDiscussion about this video: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/kunena/18-The-EricTheCarGuy-Video-Forum/51745-increasing-ac-performance-by-cleaning-condensers#100761The best place for answers to your automotive questions: http://www.ericthecarguy.comEricTheCarGuy code lookup: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/obd-code-lookupFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/EricTheCarGuy?fref=tsTwitter: https://twitter.com/EricTheCarGuyGoogle+: https://plus.google.com/100195180196698058780/postsInformation on Premium Membership: https://www.ericthecarguy.com/premium-content-streaming-etcg-contentStay DirtyETCGDue to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, it cannot guarantee against unauthorized modifications of this information, or improper use of this information.  EricTheCarGuy assumes no liability for property damage or injury incurred as a result of any of the information contained in this video. EricTheCarGuy recommends safe practices when working with power tools, automotive lifts, lifting tools, jack stands, electrical equipment, blunt instruments, chemicals, lubricants, or any other tools or equipment seen or implied in this video.  Due to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, no information contained in this video shall create any express or implied warranty or guarantee of any particular result.  Any injury, damage or loss that may result from improper use of these tools, equipment, or the information contained in this video is the sole responsibility of the user and not EricTheCarGuy.
