The pricing of the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT has not yet been revealed. However, the GT 55's starting price will most likely increase to around $125,000 due to the addition of the 4Matic+ AWD system as standard equipment and a host of other upgrades. Given that it has the same power as the previous AMG GT R, the price of the new GT 63 is anticipated to be around $175,000.

The Carrera 4 ($121,700), Carrera 4S ($138,600), and 4 GTS ($158,200) are reasonable substitutes for the GT as it now comes with standard AWD. Though it produces less power and offers comparable performance overall, the six-cylinder 911 remains the standard for handling. However, the GT has its own noteworthy selling features, including its more thrilling appearance, V8 engine note, and the luxury that the label promises.
