The 2026 Palm Beach Auction kicked off in style with the Opening Night Party set to the sounds of the acclaimed band Libido, held the evening before the gates officially opened on Day 1, Thursday, April 16. The morning’s Automobilia Auction kept the momentum going, as light-up signs and vintage gas pumps proved especially popular among bidders, with over 100 authentic automobilia pieces offered with No Reserve.

After the national anthem was performed, over 200 collector vehicles crossed the block on Thursday, with the arena erupting in cheers on several occasions, such as when an unrestored 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Seville finished in Heather Purple sold for $88,000. Members of the Antique Automobile Club of America and the Gold Coast Sports Car Club joined guests throughout the venue, enjoying three brand-new patios with DJs playing the hits — Stella Artois, Staging Lanes and the Food Court. The excitement carried through the close of the day in the auction arena, where there was an exclusive poster giveaway, with fresh designs to be released Friday and Saturday.

Big auction sales on the block ranged from a 1969 Oldsmobile 442 to a Mamba Edition 2004 Dodge Viper.
