One of our most comprehensize project cars to date is this deliberately unassuming Mercedes-AMG S65, which we affectionately call the ADS65. It was the most powerful production saloon of its time, but we wanted more: it’s now 600 horses (yes, we dynoed it) and 1000 Nm of twist.

Oomph is not the problem for ADS65, so our goals were longevity and personalisation. For longevity, this large biturbo V12 is kept healthy with a water/methanol injection system, and an intercooler water spray system to deal with all that excess heat.

And of course, personalisation. Originally in Obsidian Black, this super saloon is now in a heritage Olive Green Metallic. Its interior is reupholstered in a lively Hermes Orange, and the makeover is completed with a set of Rotiform OZRs to balance out the subtle exterior.

Finally, our flagship 100 man-hour detailing program, Signature Detailing, was performed on every inch of the new vehicle to bring it to its full stunning glory, finished with ClearGuard Alpha PPF, the film that leads the industry across every metric like gloss, protection, and self-healing technology.
