The new Mercedes GLE is preparing for the premiere. This luxury SUV is built on a fresh modular platform MHA (Mercedes High Architecture) with a two-lever front and a multi-link rear. From the base position, the air suspension can be raised by 78 mm and lowered by 40 mm. Optional for GLE will be available spring-loaded suspension E-Active Body Control. This is a more advanced version of the Magic Body Control suspension, familiar to us in the S-Class executive sedan, with an independent hydraulic system for each wheel separately and adjustable shock absorbers. Mercedes GLE will be powered not only by petrol turbochargers I6 3.0 and V8 4.0, but also by several turbo diesel engines with a capacity of two and three liters, with a capacity of 245, 286 and 340 hp. By default, all modifications will receive a full drive and 9G-Tronic. The premiere of the new generation Mercedes GLE w167 will take place at the Paris Motor Show in early October 2018.
