The area under the door handle is one of the most damaged places on any car – full of scratches from nails, rings, and everyday use. In this tutorial, we show how to wrap and protect this spot on a Mercedes-AMG CLA45S, which has a white body paint with many sporty black accents. To fit perfectly, we chose a matte black vinyl film that not only protects but also adds a stylish black contrast.

Here’s the full process step by step:
✅ Remove the handle (easy and gives plenty of space for wrapping)
✅ Clean the surface carefully for perfect adhesion
✅ Apply knifeless tape along the edges for safe cutting
✅ Place the matte black vinyl film and shape it smoothly
✂️ Cut the film precisely with the knifeless tape
???? Finish with a heat gun for strong glue activation and durability

The result? A clean, sporty black accent under the handle that protects from scratches and enhances the CLA’s AMG style. You can also use transparent paint protection film if you want invisible protection, or choose any color to match your car’s design. And remember — it’s reversible, so you can always remove or change it.
