This is part 3 of a multipart series on buying and owning a 1986 to 1995 Mercedes Benz. Kent will walk you through the steps on how to do a visual inspection on the rear suspension. You will have 24 points pivot point to inspect as well as the rubber subframe mounts. Once you see how one is designed you will understand why these cars handle so well. The last years of the W126 and the R107 chassis did not have the multi-link rear end.
