This is my debut race in the Pony Express Sim Racing League Endurance 4 Amateurs series! This is an IMSA style racing series with LMDh/GTP class and GT3/GTD class. The PESR League is for drivers who have a 3K or less iRating and are looking for a competitive and fun sim racing endurance series. This was Round 1 of the 2024 season. The season opener took place at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course. There was a 45 car GT3/GTD field comprised of A/PRO and B/AM drivers. I am initially classified as an AM driver since I am new to the series. It is possible during the first three races that if I perform at a high level that I may be promoted to PRO. Bonus points are handed out to the top qualifiers as well as those who have minimal incidents. They reward both fast and clean racing. For my debut race I rolled off P16 out of 45 cars. I hoped for a top 15 and ended up exceeding my expectations by keeping clean and getting a little lucky with strategy!

The 2024 Pony Express Sim Racing League Endurance 4 Amateurs Series is a multi-class racing series featuring LMDh/GTP and GT3/GTD classes. The highest class is the LMDh/GTP and includes the Cadillac V-Series.R, Porsche 963, BMW M Hybrid V8, and the Acura ARX-06. The GT3 class includes the Audi R8 LMS EVO II GT3, BMW M4 GT3, Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO, Porsche 911 GT3 R, Ferrari 296 GT3, Ford GT GT3, McLaren MP4-12C GT3, and the Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO 2020. Races are 90 minutes and everyone uses the designated fixed setup. So far I have been very impressed with the Pony Express Sim Racing League on and off the track!
