If the rear number plate light doesn’t work in your Mercedes B-Class, it means that there are issues with bulbs or connections. There are no dedicated fuses or relays that would cover work of these lights since the function is controlled completely by the SAM module.

If you can’t locate the issues with the connections or bulbs, it makes sense to take your Mercedes in for an inspection. Otherwise, it’s hard to locate the problem on your own since the control module is pretty tricky. But, to be honest, SAM modules rarely fail in Mercedes cars unless they are directly damaged.
