Set against the backdrop of Portugal’s dramatic coastline, Alex Thomson’s daredevil stunt sees him attempt to kitesurf twice the height of his racing boat’s mast, by attaching himself to a cord and using the speed of the boat to elevate him. “If something was to go wrong, I could be seriously injured,” says Alex, in the lead up to the attempt.
