This 1992 Mercedes-Benz E500 was modified by RENNtech to their E60 specification in the early 1990s. The modifications were performed under original ownership. The body is finished in black pearl , and RENNtech fitted the car with a post-facelift front end and color-keyed the lower body cladding. The original owner had the 5.0-liter V8 modified by RENNtech, increasing displacement to 6.0-liters. Per documentation from the tuner, the conversion cost just under $19k, and in conjunction with the installed carbon fiber airbox produced approximately 390 horsepower.
