M550i is a maneater! Make you work hard, spend hard and fall in love. We kick off the review with a shocking blast to 60-mph via the launch control. 480 pound-feet of torque kick the car off the line hard. Each upshift brings a huge pop in the neck -- G-FORCE!!! 456HP might not sound radical. And indeed, this V8TT speaks pretty quietly. Its power speaks volumes, though.
The M550i can flip from hardcore to softcore at the tap of controls. But we stay hard in Sport Plus the whole time. Enjoy!
