Heavy duty air cleaner housing bracket: https://mercedessource.com/store/search?keys=air%20filter%20housing OM 617 Turbo diesel engines from 1978 to 1984 / 85 suffer from a common weakness - that is the metal bracket that holds the air filter round housing onto the engine. Kent will explain the problems and offer solutions. If you want to fix it so it won't break again real soon you need to watch this video.
