The manual swap is finally complete.

After buying this Mercedes E55 AMG Wagon sight unseen, finding all the issues, and fixing everything it needed, it was finally time for the moment I’ve been waiting for: the first drive.

In this episode, we go over all of the work that was done to transform this high-mileage AMG wagon, then take it out on the road for its very first drive as a manual. This car started as a risky Cars & Bids purchase with over 205,000 miles, a check engine light, and plenty of unknowns — and now it’s becoming one of the coolest Mercedes project cars I’ve ever owned.
