Time lapse of Mercedes M112 Water pump, thermostat, oil cooler seal change.

A nice easy job on the W220 as the V6 leaves loads of space for activities. WIS says to pull the radiator (totally unnecessary on this car), but on the M113, it may be required at it is probably a bit tighter to the radiator. Coolant, or rather the lack of, was replaced with genuine MB 325.0 (5.5 Ltrs) and distilled water (5.0 Ltrs).

Tools used:
8 mm, under tray screws x 9 (just enough to remove the left front panel).
10 mm, water pump pulley bolts.
46mm, oil filter housing hollow bolt.
E14, alternator bolt.
E12, M8 water pump bolts x 4.
E10, M6 water pump bolts x 11.
T50, idler pulley bolt.
T30 oil cooler to filter housing bolts x 3.
Flat blade screwdriver for the radiator drain plug and hose clamps.
Spring clamp pliers for the oil cooler hoses.
Torque wrench to cover the range 9 Nm to 35 Nm.
Torques:

Water pump pulley bolts: 9 Nm
Water pump bolts: M6 10 Nm; M8 25 Nm.
(If the timing case has been replaced with new, or the belt idler pulley bracket bolts to the new water pump, these torque values become M6 14 Nm; M8 35 Nm).
Thermostat bolts: 14 Nm.
Oil cooler to oil filter housing: 11Nm.

The time lapse skips some detail, but this job was almost as quick as it looks.
