Diagnosis of a non functioning Mercedes Benz CLK Class Central Locking system and FOB (W209, W208, W211, W203, W220, R230, etc...)

This might happen to you one day if you leave a lamp on in your Mercedes and end up with flat battery, things might go wrong as Mercedes Benz usually doesn't like a weak battery. Try this before taking your car to a mechanic or MB dealer.
