In this video, I’m digging into the factory premium amplifier harness trying to pinpoint exactly which twisted pairs are the speaker output wires so I can route them to an aftermarket amp.
When you're trying to override or bypass a factory amplifier, plugging into the wrong side can fry your gear. Here is the quick breakdown of what to look for on these GM/Pioneer style white plugs:

The Smaller Plug: Usually carries your power, ground, and low-level inputs from the radio.
The Larger Plug: This is the one you want! It holds the speaker output wires heading out to the doors. Look for the distinct twisted pairs—factory systems twist them together to kill electrical background noise.
