Launch X431 PAD V with X-Prog3 can erase (virgin) the used Mercedes-Benz ECU ME9.7 and TCU 722.9 on the bench with no issues.

Use the [Completely Erase Module] option in the Anti-theft function to back up data, calculate and erase the password, and then confirm to erase the module.
Finally, the personalized value will be“NO”. That means the ECU erasing is successful.

Kindly notice:
The steps for ECU or TCU are the same.
After clearing the ECU or TCU, then the used control module can be used on other cars.
After installing the used control module, need to program, code, and personalize.
