It looks like something out of a science fiction film: on the Mercedes-Benz test track driverless cars test the assistance systems of the future. Using GPS and radio the developers are constantly in touch with the automated vehicles keeping them safely on course. This serves to collect meaningful data helping to make motoring even safer in future.
