Welcome to my guide to winning the Weekly Challenge Races for January Week 1 2024 on Gran Turismo 7.

All THE RACES WERE COMPLETED ON HARD DIFFICULTY

In this video I show you every race in this weeks Weekly Challenge for January Week 1 2024 .I will show you my car setup, strategies and any notes I have for each race.

NORTHERN ISLE SPEEDWAY - SUNDAY CUP
Car Choice: Mazda Demio XD Touring ‘15
I didn’t make any setup changes, the car is completely stock. The only thing I changed was I put on Sports Medium Tyres. This allows you to go through the corners with 100% throttle, you never need to lift off the throttle for the entire race making this race super easy.

AUTOPOLIS - SPECIAL EVENT
One Make Race: Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992)
I didn’t make any setup changes, the car is completely stock. The only thing I changed was I put on Racing Medium Tyres. These tyres give the car so much grip and makes it a really fun race and pretty easy.
You do have a DRS button with this car but it is not required. If you want to use DRS you have to configure it to your controller or wheel by into the settings on GT7.

BRANDS HATCH GP - EUROPEAN CLUBMANCUP 600
Car Choice: Mercedes AMG C 63 S ‘15
I didn’t make any setup changes, the car is completely stock. The only thing I changed was I put on Sports Soft Tyres. The car does feel a bit wobbly to drive but overall the race is pretty easy and you shouldn’t have any issues with this car and race combination.

TOKYO EXPRESSWAY EAST CLOCKWISE - NISSAN GT-R CUP
Car Choice: Nissan GT-R NISMO ‘17
I didn’t make any setup changes, the car is completely stock. The only thing I changed was I put on Racing Soft Tyres. The car has a lot of grip and a lot of straight line speed. You shouldn’t have any issues winning this race.

TRIAL MOUNTAIN - X2019 NATIONS CUP
Car Choice: X2019-Competition
Strategy - Start the race on Racing Soft Tyres, pit on Lap 7 for new Racing Soft Tyres. DO NOT REFUEL. No fuel saving required. You can also do the exact same strategy with Racing Medium Tyres instead if you’re struggling to make the tyres last 7 laps.
Downforce settings: Front - 900 Rear - 1400
Brake Balance is set at 2, this is my personal preference and not required.
Use 3rd or 4th gear out of corners to minimise wheel spin, this will help with tyre wear.
The AI are super slow through the first few corners, take advantage of that, this is where you will make up all of your time.
I have a seperate video guide for this race on my channel if you want to check it out.

If you have any questions or are struggling with the strategy please comment below and I will do my best to help you.
