I continue fixing up my 2005 Mercedes ML350 by replacing the transmission conductor plate after experiencing P0715 wheel speed sensor codes. These codes would turn on the check engine light after 2 drive cycles.
This would place the vehicle into a transmission limp mode where it would not shift out of 1st gear without restarting the engine or clearing the code.
This SUV is equipped with the Mercedes 722.6 automatic transmission where the transmission conductor plate is a common failure that can cause the symptom described above.
