Mercedes-AMG really had one job… and somehow this new electric AMG GT 4-Door ended up looking and sounding like the complete opposite of what AMG fans actually wanted. ????‍????

For decades, AMG built its reputation around brutal V8 engines, aggressive styling, and that loud emotional exhaust note that made people turn their heads before the car even arrived. But this new electric version feels like Mercedes threw all of that away for a futuristic design that honestly doesn’t even look like an AMG anymore.

The proportions feel weird, the front end looks over-smoothed, and the whole car has more “generic EV concept” energy than proper AMG presence. And then comes the fake sound… which might be the most disappointing part of all. Instead of a real handcrafted AMG roar, the car now plays artificial speaker-generated noise trying to imitate emotion that simply isn’t there.

The crazy part is that this thing is still expected to make insane power figures thanks to its fully electric setup, but power alone doesn’t automatically create soul. A fast car without character is just another appliance on wheels.

And honestly… there probably won’t be a single true AMG fan who prefers this fake sound over the old handcrafted V8 monsters. This genuinely feels like a strong contender for worst performance car design of the year.
